The CUKROVAR project was designed for a new residential neighbourhood in Trnava, built on the site of a historic industrial complex. The brief was to create an interior that combines the warm naturalness of wood with the boldness of dark accents … the result is a space where these two worlds meet in every room.

We contacted NESTOR studio because we liked their handwriting and every design we saw was according to our taste. We also had a personal experience at friends. Our collaboration was relatively long, as we almost started solving the interior design at the time when the developer had just started building the apartment building – which in the end turned out to be a great step and we had enough time for layout changes as well. We had several “wishes” that we wanted to have in the apartment, but from our layman’s point of view they were impossible. The NESTOR people came up with such a layout change that created a generous daily space from our apartment, which exceeded our smallest expectations. The overall design they proposed for us (after a detailed discussion about our preferences, colours, materials and also product prices) appealed to us from the very first moment so much that we did not need to make any fundamental changes, only small technical adjustments. We are more than satisfied with the overall result, our communication was very pleasant and when during the process we wanted to add technical drawings for the construction modifications, there was no problem with that at all (it was not originally planned at the beginning of the project). They always willingly answered our unprofessional questions and speculations 🙂
If we deal with another property in the future, we will definitely choose NESTOR design again 🙂 THANK YOU
