The SLNEČNICE 80 interior is a thoughtfully designed family home, where every solution responds to real life. A warm walnut wood decor, a marble-character worktop, and several carefully considered details that most visitors never discover – that’s what this apartment in the Bratislava residence SLNEČNICE POP is all about.

living area

One wall, entirely for books … and Blu-ray discs, because good films deserve their own dedicated spot on the shelf. This wall intentionally takes over the whole expression and attention of the room, so we kept the rest of the design very purist.

A large modular sofa with a sliding ottoman that playfully doubles as an extended chaise whenever needed. On the wall behind it, we went with a furniture panel featuring a simple repeating division and backlighting … one of those details that lifts the whole atmosphere up a level. And let’s not forget the coffee table … round, generously sized, in black. The round shape next to a large sofa isn’t a coincidence … it softens the lines, opens up the space, and for a family with children, it’s simply a practical bonus choice.

kitchen

An I+I shaped kitchen layout … worktop on both sides, prep on one, washing-up on the other. Logical, functional … and in this apartment also spatially interesting, since one kitchen block sits next to the TV wall, giving the kids something to run around.

The worktop is made from a compact material … anthracite veining in a super matte finish, perfectly resistant to stains, heat, and moisture. One of those materials that looks great on day one and just as great five years later! And of course, an induction hob with integrated extraction, the BORA S Pure. No extractor hood overhead, no cable, no noise … just a clean worktop and a cooking zone that extracts right at the source.

For the dining area, we went with an extendable table for everyday meals as well as unexpectedly large gatherings. The composition is rounded off with dark grey upholstered chairs and the CLYDE pendant light with a built-in Moodmaker function.

entrance hall

The first contact with the apartment is always the entrance hallway, and this is exactly where it’s decided whether an interior feels thought-through or just pretty. In this apartment, we built the electrical distribution box into the custom furniture so that it simply disappeared. Alongside it, we created a bench with a storage drawer beneath the seat for small items, plus open space below for shoes.

Opposite, we placed a mirror set into a slatted panel with coat hooks at two different heights … one for parents, one for kids. A small detail the whole family appreciates every day.

bedroom

We dressed the wall behind the bed in 3D panels from Orac … a white relief structure with delicate vertical grooves. The panels are backlit from below with an LED strip, which at night creates beautiful shadows across the surface, making the entire wall practically glow. An effect that already looks great in photos, but surprises even more in person.

The bed is fully upholstered with a low headboard in CREVIN fabric, a brand we love for its combination of soft texture and durability. On either side, we added a pair of mobile nightstands in black. Not fixed, but free-standing … and that was intentional. It keeps the narrower part of the bedroom flexible enough to fit a crib later on, with no changes needed to the furniture.

Across from the bed, we had enough room for a vanity table with small storage compartments. The composition is completed with a simple round mirror in a black frame and a floor lamp with adjustable spotlights.

guest bathroom and parents' bathroom

The bathroom was handed over in the standard developer finish, which for us meant working with what was already there and finding solutions without unnecessary intervention. We mounted the sink under a worktop made from a compact material, the same one used for the kitchen countertop, resistant to moisture and intensive daily use. The missing tile area next to the sink was solved with a flush mirror surface, and for the remaining untiled wall sections, we measured the colour with a spectrometer and matched it with regular paint. No wet works, no extra tiling. Creating an ambient atmosphere in this room was a must, so we went with a vertical LED strip that lights up the entire sink area.

The washing machine and dryer are built into a closed storage cabinet, keeping the space visually clean and fully functional.

In the parents’ bathroom, we applied similar principles. Above the Geberit unit, we created storage that hadn’t existed before, and designed a bathroom cabinet at the maximum dimensions the space allowed. Nothing flashy, just well thought-out.

REVIEW

Choosing the Nestor interior studio was honestly a great decision. Their timeless design hit our taste exactly. We really appreciated their sense for harmonising the individual rooms into one cohesive whole. Since they’re architects, they were always able to give us valuable technical input related to the design as well. Last but not least, we have to highlight how pleasant they were to work with, which made us feel completely comfortable openly sharing our ideas. The ALBELLI 56 interior is designed as a precisely balanced space with an emphasis on minimalism, clean lines, and earthy materials. A unified visual concept runs through the entire apartment, where every element has its clear place and function. The use of darker tones, black ceilings, and large-format mirrors gives the space depth and character, while technical details and integrated storage solutions support everyday comfort without visual clutter.

living area

The living area is built on strict minimalism. The space is dominated by a striking modular sofa in a brown tone, complemented by a subtle armchair on legs in a soft beige colour. We kept the space open, free of unnecessary elements. The round coffee table is light and flexible, easy to move around as needed, which supports the room’s adaptability.

The TV wall is designed as a clean horizontal line, a minimalist floating cabinet paired with panelling that combines smooth and ribbed surfaces. The subtle texture adds depth without disrupting the overall composition. A small portable lamp placed on the cabinet is the detail that creates an intimate atmosphere in the evening. The wall behind the sofa stays calm, accented only by a discreet wall-mounted light fixture.

kitchen

The kitchen is designed as a compact, maximally closed unit. The goal was to create a clean visual image without any open elements, while making the most of available storage. A FENIX compact-material worktop in a bold black finish gives the space character and technical precision. This solution made it possible to set the sink below the level of the worktop, creating an exceptionally clean detail with no disruptive edges.

The dining area features a simple veneered wooden table paired with chairs in a bolder colour tone. This creates a natural contrast between the technical kitchen section and the warmer, more communal atmosphere of the dining space.

entrance hall

The entrance hall plays with optics and function. The main feature is a large mirrored surface placed right behind the entrance, which visually multiplies the space and lets light travel deeper into the layout. Besides the aesthetic effect, it also offers a practical outfit check before heading out 🙂

The storage units handle not just coats and shoes, but also the household’s technical needs, such as the vacuum cleaner, ironing board, or cleaning supplies. A console cabinet paired with a freestanding stool on legs creates an airy yet functional entry moment.

bedroom

The bedroom is designed as a compact, built-to-measure furniture unit. The bed, nightstands, and wardrobes are all connected into one harmonious composition. The bed stands on legs, which gives it a sense of lightness and honours the original request for an airy design.

On the opposite side of the room, we created a vanity corner with a storage cabinet and a striking round mirror made to measure. The round element softens the otherwise linear character of the room. The same type of stool used in the entrance hall ties the interior together in a consistent language of details.

bathroom

In the bathroom, we worked with the developer’s standard finish, but subordinated the choice of materials to a stronger overall concept. We chose a bold dark grey tile that creates a dramatic yet elegant atmosphere. A bold move was painting the ceiling in a dark grey to black shade, which visually closes in the space and gives it intensity.

The washing machine and dryer are built into a closed storage cabinet, keeping the space visually clean and fully functional.

guest bathroom

In the standalone WC, we continued with the darker material palette. Dark grey tiling and a dark ceiling create a compact, distinctive space with a clear character. A large mirror running the full depth of the room visually multiplies the space, an effect that’s especially powerful in small rooms.

A technical detail we consider key, the access panel above the wall-hung toilet is hidden behind a furniture-style cover with a small door. We had the extractor unit sprayed in the exact same colour as the ceiling, so it draws as little attention as possible.

REVIEW

living area

The elegant kitchen is built on precise details. A 12 mm thick compact worktop allows the sink to be mounted underneath, bringing clean lines and easy maintenance. Discreet technical solutions, such as pop-up electrical sockets and colour-matched handles, support the interior’s unified visual language and keep it looking clean.

The living room is designed as a calm, comfortable space for relaxation. Minimalist solutions, clean lines, and balanced materials create a pleasant atmosphere suited to everyday living. Enjoying a great film in the LAGO 61 living room … absolutely yes!

entrance hall

The entrance hall feels sleek and clean, while still offering plenty of storage. Technical elements, such as the underfloor heating manifold, are cleverly hidden away so they don’t disrupt the overall impression of the space. The access panel is discreetly integrated beneath a removable seat cushion with a drawer underneath. A solution that doesn’t look technical at first glance, yet fully does its job.

A simple, minimalist full-body mirror placed opposite the integrated seating enhances the airiness of the entrance space and naturally complements its everyday use.

bathroom

Dark colour tones, bold textures, and a dark ceiling create a strong yet harmonious atmosphere. The LAGO 61 bathroom is a great example of working with colour to give a space character, depth, and a timeless feel. In smaller rooms, every detail plays a crucial role. All materials and products are within close reach, so particular attention was paid to their quality, finish, and visual harmony. Mirrors help visually enlarge the space and complete the atmosphere.

bedroom

The vanity, or occasional work desk, is a natural part of the bedroom while also visually enlivening the extensive made-to-measure storage wardrobe. It gently softens its strictness and brings lightness, functionality, and everyday comfort into the space.

guest WC

The toilet showcases a bold yet practical design, both in terms of execution and maintenance. Dark tones and striking materials create a compact, confident space that feels visually strong despite its smaller size. The atmosphere is completed by integrated LED strips that gently highlight the space’s architecture, play with light and shadow, and give the toilet both character and depth. The result is a functional, clean, and distinctive interior that proves even a toilet can be a full-fledged design feature of an apartment.

REVIEW

NESTOR transformed our bare shell apartment into a beautiful, cozy home. A professional approach, quality materials, and a clear process throughout. Interior SKYPARK 81

Welcome to the SKYPARK 81 interior, where clean lines meet tailor-made solutions. An airy kitchen with a FENIX compact worktop, an atypical modular sofa, striking mirrored surfaces, graphic WALL&DECO wallpapers, and meticulously detailed storage solutions come together into an elegant urban interior focused on comfort, atmosphere, and functionality.

living area

The kitchen’s key material is a 12 mm thick FENIX compact worktop, which allows the sink to be mounted underneath. We stripped the kitchen not just of upper cabinets, but of the furniture plinth as well. This design choice makes the kitchen feel airy, original, and elegant.

Minimal storage and a proper sofa that comfortably seats a larger group of people … two basic requirements. We decided to visually connect the TV wall with the kitchen unit in terms of mass, creating one unbroken, undisturbed volume. The atypical floor plan of the living area didn’t really give us much choice, and from the very start, we discussed a solution with a custom-made, atypical sofa. One that would allow for as many modular variations as possible, so it could comfortably seat a larger group while still looking stylish. The result is a sofa made of several modules with a number of sliding backrests.

In the apartment’s entrance hall, we recognised from the start the need for a classic approach … plenty of storage, a small shelf for everyday items, a movable seat, and of course some kind of mirrored surface. After all, the OUTFIT CHECK is a daily must before heading out the door.

Generally speaking, a classic silver mirror feels neutral and clean. A bronze mirror feels warmer and more elegant, while a smoked mirror adds a sophisticated, slightly dramatic touch. In this interior, we ended up going with the smoked version, though it was quite the dilemma. The clients’ last special request was to come up with an atypical way of hanging coats and bags on the wall. Besides several fully functional rows of hooks, the wall also conceals a small door leading to the access panel.

bathroom

From the very beginning, we knew this bathroom would be dominated by a substantial mirrored surface with built-in storage! It visually enlarged the space perfectly and added a special atmosphere! In the rest of the room, we designed a stylish bathroom cabinet that hides a built-in washing machine inside!

bedroom

The main bedroom’s priority was a soft, stylish upholstered bed against a striking backdrop. We went with a special graphic from our favourite brand, WALL&DECO, whose original wallpapers are always a great choice. The room’s modest dimensions allowed us to fit in a mini wardrobe and a vanity corner. Instead of solid doors, we opted for smoked glass doors in a frame, which helped keep the space feeling airy and open. Vertical LED strips were a must, and besides functionally lighting the interior, they create a genuinely luxe atmosphere.

student room

In the student room, we went with a custom-built sleeping nook … a really generous nook, which we aligned flush with the windowsill to create a truly memorable morning wake-up … actually not just mornings, because that pre-evening golden hour we experienced a few days ago completely won us over! VIEWS HAVE ALWAYS BEEN OUR THING!
